Making an impact in interviews
Involves understanding the ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ behind the question ๐
The interviewer wants to see your skillset
Your awareness of the role + company
Your character qualities
You way of thinking
And your loyalties
But theyโre rarely going to directly ask questions like
Do you understand our business model and drivers?โ
Are you just a number cruncher?โ
Are you a good leader?โ
Instead, they will ask indirect questions like
Why do you want to join this companyโ
Because this shows them your commitment to โour companyโ.
And your understanding of the business model.
Describe a time you influenced leadership with your analysis.โ
I.e., Do you have an influence on decision-making?
Do you step beyond the numbers?
Do you think strategically?

I hope people (in the northern hemisphere) enjoy their summer and Iโll speak with you all soon!
